Chieftains claim SBC Shootout

FREMONT – Hopewell-Loudon had three golfers finish in the Top 10 as the Chieftains grabbed the SBC River Shootout at Sycamore Hills Thursday.H-L topped Old Fort 191-205, while Calvert came in fifth (212).Aubrey Cline and Brooke Clouse shot twin 46s to lead the Chieftains, while Megan Boes recorded a 47 and Mallory Rowe ended with a 52. Mylie Alt (54) and Avary Tyler (75) also played for H-L. For Old Fort, Sarah Combs posted a 45, Kristin Combs backed her sister with a 47, Isabella Reyna added a 55 and Mollie Snyder shot a 58. Claire Hunker carded a 59 and Tahlia Steinberger registered a 69.Hannah Spaun's 49 paced the Senecas.
