Stull, Herbert fire 39s to lead Senecas to another SBC Shootout win

ELMORE – Calvert battled the mist and cooler temperatures on the course Wednesday night to win a SBC River Shootout at Sugar Creek 164-167 over host Woodmore.Lakota came in third (168), New Riegel was fifth (174), Old Fort was sixth (177) and Hopewell-Loudon finished 10th (215).Cohen Stull and Liam Herbert shot twin 39s to lead the Senecas. They also got a 41 from Weston Burns and 45s from Troy Shook and Braxton Shoemaker. Jacob Rishty (50) also competed for Calvert.Carter Myers paced the Raiders with a 40, followed by Grant Scherger and Jett Graber with 42s and a 44 from Alex Speck. Jack Reyna carded a 51 and Caleb Brubaker ended with a 55.Blake Moes' 40 led the Blue Jackets. They also got a 41 from Brayden Schalk, a 45 by Braden Clouse and a 48 from Sam Clouse. Collin Goshe posted a 49 and Luke Schreiner finished with a 51.Colten Hoerig fired a 43, Grady Eakin and Landon Tyson both carded a 44 and Cody Adelsperger shot a 46 for Old Fort. Emry Faist (50) and Trevor Gillmor (53) also played.For H-L, Tyler Foos fired a 44, Asher Smith added a 47, Haedyn Garcia turned in a 55 and Chace Carrel ended with a 69. The Falcons held off the Blue Devils 183-184.Nathan Alge paced the Falcons (4-0) with a 38, while Collin Vent added a 44, Owen Karcher shot a 49 and Andrew Alge ended with a 52. Carey edges BuckettesUPPER SANDUSKY – Buckeye Central produced the medalist, but Carey had the more consistent scores as a team in a 230-234 N10 win at Lincoln Hills Wednesday.Lydia Black led Carey with a 51, followed by Mia Kitzler with a 55, Dakota McKinney with a 58 and Lexi Pahl with a 66. Amyah Cooper (69) and Kendyll Cooper (70).Ava Presler was the medalist with a 50, while Charlotte Betts added a 57, Logan Sullivan had a 61 and Addy Stacklin finished with a 66.
