JUNIOR HIGH VOLLEYBALL: Calvert's eighth grade topped Hopewell-Loudon 25-15, 25-18 as Natelie Tiell had six assists and three aces and Lily Ritzler added five kills and two blocks for Calvert.Calvert's eighth grade also beat Arcadia 25-13, 25-21 as Ritzler compiled 10 aces and five digs and Logan Persohn ended with two aces, four assists and three digs. Carey's eighth grade beat Calvert 25-16, 25-18. For Calvert, Persohn had 10 assists and 13 digs and Korine Baugher tacked on three kills and two blocks.Calvert's eighth grade topped Fremont St. Joe 25-8, 25-13 Monday. Ellie Reinhart served seven aces, Korine Baugher smacked six kills and Aubrey Steyer ended with four aces.Hopewell-Loudon's eighth grade defeated Sandusky St. Mary 25-15, 25-14 as Pip Kuebler had four aces and two assists for H-L, while Avery May added five aces, Maelyn Velasquez finished with nine aces and a pair of kills and Cameron Bodart dished six assists.Hopewell-Loudon's seventh grade outlasted Sandusky St. Mary 18-25, 25-23, 25-21. Alyvia Stahl collected eight kills and four aces, Brynn Brickner dished six assists and Kelsey Brickner and Paizlie Parkins both served up four aces for the Chieftains. GOLF: Dave Combs, Don Miller, Darrell Ochier and Bill Smith tied Brad Hess, Paul Fey, Mike Kershner and Tom Miller at 1 over to win the Monday Senior League Shamble at Clinton Heights. Prizes went to King (closest to pin No. 5) and Ochier (long putt No. 7). Hess and Combs had the low gross with a 36. JV VOLLEYBALL: Liberty-Benton dropped Hopewell-Loudon in two sets. For H-L, Aubrey Schumm dished four assists, while Addie Smith added six assists and Lexi Johnson finished with four kills and three digs. RESERVE VOLLEYBALL: Liberty-Benton topped Hopewell-Loudon 35-17, 25-9. Izzy Holguin made nine digs, Addie Smith dished five assists and Ceillia Crow recorded an ace, two kills and five digs for H-L.
