While it was a bounce-back week or redemption week for several local teams on the field last Friday, it was also the same for Matt Nye's football picks. After going 5-4 in Week 1, Nye followed that up going 9-3 in Week 2. John Montgomery and "celebrity picker" Lenny Clouse each went a respectable .500 at 6-6 in Week 2. For Week 3, and for the Game of the Week in the A-T coverage area being Hopewell-Loudon @ Edison, the "celebrity picker" this week had to be from Bascom or the H-L area. It is Deacon Greg Siebenaller from All Saints Parish in New Riegel. Siebenaller has been a Deacon since Sept. 18, 2021. He resides in Bascom and his boys played football for the Chieftains, so surely no bias while picking that game this week.
