Taylor Swift Scavenger Hunt to come to Tiffin

TIFFIN — A Taylor Swift themed scavenger hunt is set to take place throughout downtown Tiffin at a variety of participating businesses on Saturday ahead of the return of "Taylor's Story: A Taylor Swift Tribute" later this month. The free event will kick off at The Poignon Project, 227 E. Perry St., where attendees can participate in a dance party before beginning the hunt. The event will conclude at Simply Susan's, where participants can turn in their scavenger hunt sheets for a chance to win over $500 in prizes. Some of those prizes include a private dinner for up to four people at The Turntable (valued at $300), a glass-blowing class at The Poignon Project (valued at $75), and more. Susan Wilkinson, owner of Simply Susan's and one of the organizers of the event, shared that much like Taylor Swift, the event will feature a variety of Easter eggs. "The scavenger hunt is 13 days before the concert and takes place on Sept. 13," shared Wilkinson, referencing Swift's "Ready for It" music video. She continued, sharing that she reached out to whom she calls the "King of Scavenger Hunts" — Ryan Poignon. "So we get to talking, and we put up a post saying anyone who is interested could participate — now we have 19 participating businesses," said Wilkinson. And according to Wilkinson, participants don't need to have an extensive knowledge about Taylor Swift or her music to participate– as the event is not set up to be a race.
