Hepp earns medalist, TC finishes 4th at SBC Lake Tourney

HURON – Columbian freshman Kyle Hepp carded a 75 Wednesday to claim medalist at the SBC Lake Tournament at Thunderbird North.Hepp led the Tornadoes to fourth overall with a 356, while Bellevue took the title with a 322 and Clyde came in third with a 340.Blake Sutherland paced the Redmen with a 79, followed by Max Horn and Jackson Decker each with an 80 and Sam Cooper with an 83. Caden Lindsey shot an 84 and Preston Spurlock added an 89 for the Redmen.Nico Carroll fired a 79 for Clyde. It also got an 85 from Adler Renfro, an 86 by Mitch Newsome and 90s from Connor Eastby and Carsen Gillmor. Max Waterfield shot a 108.Carter Everhart backed Hepp with a 93, while Mason Roszman and Jack Dell shot twin 94s. Finn Cooper had a 95 and Izaac Woessner ended with a 98.
