Nolan Lee ran for three scores and Cameron Lucius added two Friday to key Calvert's 34-7 Sandusky Bay Conference River Division win against Lakota.Lee's first two scores gave the Senecas leads.He snapped a scoreless tie with a 2-yard plunge in the first quarter, then sprinted in from 22 yards out in the second for a 14-7 advantage.The Raiders tied the game 7-7 in between when Lucas McEwan reeled in a 22-yard TD strike from Nick Elchert in the second quarter.Calvert (2-3, 1-1 SBC) pulled away in the second half.Lee bulled in from the 1 in the third quarter, and Lucius added TD runs of 25 and 13 yards in the fourth.Lee led all rushers with 74 yards and Lucius added 48. Charlie Palm threw for 116 yards for Calvert, with Logan DeMoss catching four passes for 84 yards.Calvert's defense held the Raiders (3-2, 0-2) to 54 yards rushing and 71 yards passing. Elchert had all of the passing yards for Lakota, and added 30 yards rushing. Early burst fuels WarriorsBUCYRUS — Mohawk wasted little time getting back to its winning ways. Clouse hit Tiell with a 13-yard TD strike and added a 14-yard scoring run to help Mohawk dominate early.Clouse sandwiched touchdown passes of 33 yards to Owen Patrizi and 25 yards to Clouse in the second quarter around the Redmen's Isaac Makeever scoring on a 10-yard run.Aden Patrizi tacked on a 15-yard TD sprint in the third quarter for Mohawk and John Stansbery reeled in a 28-yard scoring toss from Jagger Ekleberry in the fourth. Rams pull away from RoyalsBUCYRUS — Upper Sandusky gained a bit of breathing room late in the first half, then pulled away from Wynford from there Friday for a 44-20 Northern 10 Athletic Conference win.The Rams (2-3, 1-1 N10) never trailed, but Wynford made it interesting in the first half.Upper Sandusky vaulted out to a 17-0 lead by the midway point of the first quarter after Keegan Dunn fired TD passes of 80 yards to Josh Heilman on the game's first play and 11 yards to Kasen Gottfried, while Kobe Beidelschies hit a 47-yard field goal.But the Royals (1-4, 0-2) scored with 49.6 seconds left in the opening period on Brayden Campbell's 62-yard strike to Braylon Wells.Campbell added a 1-yard scoring dive with 3:43 left in the half to cut the deficit to 17-14, but Upper Sandusky countered with Dunn's 3-yard TD pass to Caine Rupp for a 23-14 halftime advantage.The Rams pulled away from there.Heilman hauled in a 42-yard TD toss from Dunn at the 9:21 mark of the third period to make it 30-14, but Campbell plowed in from the 1 about six minutes later to cut the gap to 30-20.Ethan Lewis sealed the win for the Rams in the fourth quarter with touchdown runs of 31 and 12 yards. Pirates blank Bellevue againSANDUSKY — Perkins got its offense going Friday and kept Bellevue from doing the same, rolling to a 41-0 win.The victory marked the fourth in a row by the Pirates against Bellevue, and the third-straight shutout.The scores came from all facets of the offense.Grant Hickman hit field goals of 36 yards in the first quarter and 42 yards in the second, with Sam Schweinfurth hitting Blaker Parker with a 39-yard TD strike in the opening period and Levi Jackson tacking on a 13-yard scoring run in the second.In the third quarter, Perkins (2-3) got a 1-yard TD plunge from Braxden Martin and a 13-yard scoring pass from Schweinfurth to Bryce Davie.Logan Wadsworth capped the scoring with a 21-yard sprint in the fourth quarter against the Redmen (3-2).
