Fostoria library book sale set

FOSTORIA — It's nearly book-sale time at Kaubisch Memorial Public Library in Fostoria.Books on a variety of topics, along with other items will be available from Oct. 17 through Oct. 31 in the McClean Room of the library, located at 205 Perry St.Prior to the sale, donations of books and DVDs in good, clean condition will be accepted from Monday through Oct. 9.The sale will be set up in the same manner as recent sales, with shoppers not seeing volunteers. A donation box will be available for shoppers to donate whatever they feel is appropriate for the items they have selected. Bags and boxes will be available for shoppers to carry their selected items.Sale hours will be 9 a.m. to 5:45 p.m., on Monday through Thursday, and from 9 a.m., to 1:45 p.m., on Friday and Saturday.Most items available are previously circulated books and material of the library and donations from the public. Books on a variety of topics and of interest to readers of all ages will be available. Books on CD and miscellaneous items from around the library may also be purchased.The library asks that persons making donations of books not to place them in boxes, but rather to put them in plastic shopping bags and dropped off during regular library hours.
