Seneca County Auditor honored with Career Achievement Award Seneca County Auditor Julie Adkins was recently presented with the 2025 Career Achievement Award by the Ohio Government Finance Officers Association during its annual conference. The award recognizes long-serving public finance professionals who have made significant contributions statewide. Adkins, who has more than 30 years of experience, was honored for her leadership locally and across Ohio, including her term as president of the County Auditors' Association of Ohio in 2020. Scripture from Book of Daniel to be read at West Independence Church Daniel 6:13-23, the account of Daniel in the lions' den, will be the scripture read preceding the Rev. Ben Wallick's sermon, "Preparing in Prayer," during the 9 a.m. worship service on Sunday at West Independence Church in Fostoria.West Independence is a Global Methodist Church located at 22876 U.S. Route 224.
