Rams earn first sectional final win

Kobe Beidelschies scored twice and Josh Walton had two assists Thursday, guiding Upper Sandusky to its first sectional final win program history in a 3-0 victory against Port Clinton.The Rams (9-9) advance to Tuesday's 7:30 p.m. Division IV district semifinal against Edison at Shelby.Cooper Roof snapped a scoreless tie with 12:59 left in the opening half, and Beidelschies added his first goal 11 1/2 minutes later.Beidelschies extended the lead to 3-0 with 4:22 left in the second half.Deacon Burton added an assist for Upper Sandusky, and Troy Hoffbauer stopped five shots.
