Upper Sandusky girls win Warm-Up TourneyGALION- Upper Sandusky and Seneca East bowling teams took part in the Victory Lanes Warm-Up Tournament in Galion Saturday as the Upper Sandusky girls won the tournament with a 2,914. Seneca East came in fourth with a 2,747. In the boys tournament, the Rams were fifth (2,966) and the Tigers came in sixth (2,875). Host Galion won the boys tourney with a 3,577.Taking third place individually in the tournament with a 562 was Melanie Bowen (206-163-193) for the Rams. Following Bowen was Lily Swartz with a 518 (149-191-178), Sophomore Brynn Routzahn bowled a 508 (145-151-212), Michaelynn Hill totaled a 434 (172-150-112) and Aleah McCann ended with a 426 (129-163-134).Casey Kipps had a monster day for the Tigers as she rolled a 592 series (184-180-228), which is the school record for a three-game series score, and she broke the school record for highest single-game score with a 228.Payton Walters followed with a 445 (129-169-147), Audra Miller added a 443 (168-129-146), Faith VanBuskirk rolled a 439 (150-151-138), Gracie Webster had a 250 (125-125) and Madison Seasly rolled a single game of 112.For the Upper boys team, Clayton Bowen led the Rams with a 545, as he had the best in game 1 in the three-game series with 220-174-151.
