Poetry Corner

A mom A mom these days has it hard. Some days we don't even make it past the yard. Till the kids start in. And it doesn't matter where they've been. They make it hard to get any peace. No matter how much you want to wrap up in fleece. Not getting to be able to pee alone. Or get to do anything on your own. They are always at each other's throats. Like someone votes On who is going to be loved the most. And they don't care who they roast. Because more than likely it's going to be the mom. And she has no choice but to be calm. When she loses her cool, She will make you drool. And that's if she's not scared. And it's sad she's the one that gets glared. Like she is the one that did wrong. Then some say she is strong. But she doesn't feel that way. Because the kids have cast her out to bay. They can't take accountability for what they do. I'm going to screw in the screw. And throw away the drill. Things are going to change. And they might even get strange. Because of how mothers need to gather together. And brave the weather.
