Chieftains sweep Raiders FREMONT – While the girls match was a tad bit closer, both the boys and girls for Hopewell-Loudon took down Lakota in a SBC match at Plaza Lanes Wednesday.The boys won 2,152-1,540, while the girls edged the Raiders 1,438-1,407.Calvin Scherf – who ended the season on top of the SBC leaderboard in highest average – led the way Wednesday with a 420 series (255-165). H-L also got a 382 (172-220) from Tyler Foos, a 353 (177-176) by Layne Flemmings, a 241 (127-114) from Chace Correl and then single-game scored from Cameron Fredrick (109) and Maveric Flory.H-L won the three baker games 426-271.Lakota names were not provided.For the girls, H-L's Hollie Bozo led the way with a 308 (149-159), followed by Arinna England with a 253 (155-98), Kenedy Clark with a 246 (126-120), Emma Foster with a 204 (107-97) and Chasity Keckler with a 202 (121-81).
