Fostoria hospital foundation offering scholarships

FOSTORIA — Fostoria-area students who are pursuing degrees in healthcare-related fields may apply for scholarships through the ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital Foundation.Scholarships in amounts from $500 to $2,500 will be awarded for the 2026-27 academic year.The foundation annually administers four scholarship funds. The J.L. Murphy Memorial Fund, the J.A. Murray Memorial Scholarship Fund, the G.H.W. Bruggemann Memorial Scholarship Fund and the Ruth Nichols Sollars Nursing Education Scholarship Fund were established by former Fostoria-area physicians, nurses and their families in support of healthcare career education. Eligibility requirements are specific to each fund based on the establishing donors request and are listed on the applications.Applications will only be accepted online at https://promedica.foundation/fostoriascholarships2026 and must be submitted by March 1. Incomplete applications, those missing documentation or those submitted after the deadline will not be considered.Past applicants may reapply.
