Blair takes over TU football program

Just six days after Brett Ekkens resigned as Tiffin University football coach to pursue a position in the NFL with the Arizona Cardinals, the Dragons found their guy to replace him.It's Ekkens' offensive coordinator the last two seasons – Zack Blair.He was also the quarterbacks coach and a recruiting coordinator under Ekkens as the TU offense has ranked among the best in the G-MAC in the past two seasons. TU led the league in scoring for both the 2025 (31.5 ppg) and 2024 (32.7) seasons.Prior to his stint with the Dragons, Blair was a pass game coordinator/running backs and recruiting coordinator for Saginaw Valley State in 2023 and before that he coached running backs, tight ends and wide receivers for the nationally ranked NAIA Indiana Wesleyan teams in 2020-22."I am incredibly humbled and honored to lead the football program here at Tiffin University," Blair said in a press release.
