Why do you go to Ohio Bike Week?

Sandusky — Some come on their bikes, others in a mini-van packed full of family.With thousands of motorcycles to gawk at, live music and entertainment and of course all things fried... Whether you're old, young, biker or not, Ohio Bike Week draws crowds of thousands from all walks of life.We asked returning Bike Week goers to tell us why they love coming back year after year. Lynd Loomis - I love Bike Week because it brings together a great community of bikers. It also shows the thousands of non-bikers that attend that bikers aren't the dirty boogie man to be afraid of. Also, can't forget the live bands!Michael Jarrett - To check out all the cool bikes and eat some delicious cheese curds. Rich Kimble - I go for all the carni-food and the free concerts. Chelsi Dees - The atmosphere, the tent shops, the music... I also love reconnection with people I haven't seen in a while. Brandi Ruffing - The main reason I go is because I like the parade. I ride in it and it's a good time. Plus a lot of my friends are bartenders, the live bands and of course the fried bologna. Mitch Brewer - It's an incredible gathering of like-minded people. Nothing beats a day on the pavement on two wheels. Jim Miller - I enjoy hanging out with people that have the same interests. Bike Week has all of my favorite things: Riding, music, food and drinks. I also love the thousands of people that come and enjoy our awesome city.Rachel Snowden - The energy! So many people have to travel to an event like this.
