Blood drives hosted here

The Red Cross is hosting a handful of blood drives locally this March. The month, which is considered Red Cross Month, allows residents a chance to give blood and platelets. But the Red Cross said it plans to offer donors several items in return: • Those who successfully give blood this month will receive a $15 Amazon gift card by email. • Donors will also recieve a free A1C test on their blood donation. A1C tests are used to screen for prediabetes and diabetes. People can make appointments by visiting redcrossblood.org/give.html/find-drive.
