Senecas hammer out pair of winsARCADIA — Three Calvert players combined for 15 hits, 14 runs and 10 RBIs Saturday as the Senecas routed Arcadia 11-1 and South Central 15-3.Scarlett Faber went 3 for 3 with three runs against Arcadia, and Ava Eilrich and Kate Coleman both ended 3 for 4 with a double. Eilrich added a run and RBI, and Coleman scored twice and drove in two runs.Against South Central, Faber finished 3 for 4 with four runs and an RBI, Eilrich tripled, drove in a run and scored three times, and Coleman singled twice, scored and knocked in five runs.Eilrich also picked up both wins. She struck out 11 in the six-inning game with Arcadia, and fanned five in two innings of work against South Central. Rachel Spaun pitched the other five innings against South Central.In the opener against Arcadia, Claire Schoenberger added a double and run for Calvert, Mya Steyer singled twice and scored twice, Addison Sheets added a single and three RBIs, Grace Wood had a single and two RBIs, Savannah Faber turned in a single and RBI, Sofia Lee singled and Bella Steyer and Audrey Sheets each scored.Addison Coleman's double, single and run led the Redskins.
