Bellevue surges past StockadersBELLEVUE — Bellevue broke free in the sixth inning and had five players end with two RBIs in Monday's 16-6 win against Old Fort.The game went back and forth for the first five innings.Old Fort leaped out 3-0 in the top of the first, but the Lady Red countered with a run in the second and three in the third to inch ahead 4-3.The Stockaders plated three runs in the top of the fourth, only to see Bellevue notch single runs in the bottom of that frame and in the fifth to knot the game at 6.Old Fort went scoreless in the top of the sixth before the Lady Red erupted in their at-bat to end the game.Taylor Waldrup, Jaelynn Powers, Mallory Hay, MyahAnn Reesman and Lianna Sosa each knocked in two runs for Bellevue.Waldrup lined three singles, and Powers, Ryleigh Knutti and Ava Meyer each had two. Fliers hold back GalionGALION — Clyde never trailed Monday, but had two answer Galion a few times to earn a 9-7 win.The Fliers scored three times in the top of the first and twice in the second, but Galion countered with three in the bottom of the second and two in the fourth to tie the game.Clyde then scored twice in the fifth and twice in the sixth before allowing two runs by the Tigers in the sixth.Jayleigh Flynn singled twice for the Fliers, Ariah Farrar tripled, Amber Dillingham doubled, and Molly Guhn and Teaghan Smith each singled.Madison Myers went the distance for the win.
