GIRLS TRACK: Upper Sandusky won five races Friday to claim the River Valley Relays by a 101.03-85.98 margin over Willard. Arielle O'Flaherty, JaydenRichards, Shiloh Shasteen and Jillian Stansbery took the 4x100 (52.07) and 4x200 (1:52.33) for the Rams. Bailey Hinesman, Madison Miles, Jocelyn Leightey and Abigail Ault claimed the 4x800 (10:59.51) and the 4x1,600 (24:38.75). Leightey, O'Flaherty, Stansbery and Richards added a victory in the 1,600 sprint medley (4:33.11). BOYS TRACK: Upper Sandusky ended second Friday at the River Valley Relays. Colonel Crawford upended the Rams 92.5-74.02 for the title. Ashton Clark, Franklin Arnold, Eli Smith and Brent Richards captured the 4x400 (3:45.63) for the runner-up Rams. Arnold, Henry Minehart, Andrew Leightey and Carter Pohlman won the 4x1,600 (20:05.56). Arnold, Richards, Minehart and Pohlman claimed the 4,000 distance medley (11:44.1). VARSITY SOFTBALL: Kenslee Swavel and Madison Hart each homered Friday to key Upper Sandusky's 15-4 win against Northwestern. Swavel ended with three RBIs and Hart had two. Ava Saull went 4 for 4 with three runs and an RBI, Kadence Boes ended 3 for 3 with a run and RBI, Madison Wengerd drove in three runs and singled twice, Kendall Taylor had two singles, a run and RBI, Adilyn Hessey singled, scored and knocked in two runs, Carly Boes singled, drove in run and scored two runs, Lauren Parks singled and scored two runs, winning pitcher Ella Frombaugh had a run and RBI and Lyla Rall scored.
