Seneca County Craft Creation: Flower Pot Collage — 4:30 p.m. April 27 at Garlo Heritage Nature Preserve, 6777 OH-19, Bloomville. Participants will create a flower pot collage using provided materials, with some items to bring from home. Please bring scissors and fabric scraps; registration required at least 24 hours in advance. Wetland Walkers — 8:30 a.m. April 30 at Fruth Wetland Nature Preserve, 10130 W. OH-18, Fostoria. This program combines coffee and a guided walk highlighting seasonal changes in the wetlands. Designed for adults, the program offers a relaxed outdoor experience with light walking. Registration required by April 28. Register online at senecacountyparks.com. Wood County Reptiles and Amphibians of the Great Black Swamp — 6:30-7:30 p.m. April 30 at W.W. Knight Nature Preserve, 29530 White Rd., Perrysburg. Participants will learn about reptiles and amphibians found in northwest Ohio and how they differ. The program will also include a chance to meet live animal ambassadors. Registration required. Register online at wcparks.org. Hancock County Spring Wildflower Hike — 11 a.m. April 25 at Litzenberg Memorial Woods, Gatehouse, 6100 W. US-224, Findlay. Participants will take a guided hike to search for spring wildflowers such as trout lilies and mayapples. Trails may be wet and muddy, so appropriate footwear is recommended. Spring Cleaning: Open House — 1-4 p.m. April 26 at Litzenberg Memorial Woods, McKinnis House, 6100 W. US-224, Findlay. Learn how pioneers prepared for spring through cleaning and seasonal food practices. Displays will highlight daily life in the 1800s. Forest Explorers Hike — 10 a.m. April 28 at Litzenberg Memorial Woods, Gatehouse, 6100 W. US-224, Findlay. This guided hike will focus on spotting colorful wildflowers and small forest creatures. Participants may look under logs to find insects and amphibians. Disc Golf — 6 p.m. April 29 at Riverbend Recreation Area, Shelter 3, 16618 TR-208, Findlay. Participants will learn the basics of disc golf and play the front nine holes. Discs will be provided or participants may bring their own. Registration required by 1 p.m. April 29. Plein Air Gatherings — 2-4 p.m. April 30 at Blanchard River Nature Preserve, 17887 TR-208, Findlay. Artists are invited to paint or draw outdoors in a group setting. Participants should bring their own materials and dress for weather conditions. Whose Nest Is It Hike — 6 p.m. April 30 at Riverbend Recreation Area, Big Oaks Activity Area, 16618 TR-208, Findlay. Participants will search for and identify nests built by birds, insects and other wildlife. Trails may be wet and muddy, so appropriate footwear is recommended. Register online at hancockparks.com. Crawford County Wildflower Walk — 2 p.m. April 25 at Sears Woods State Nature Preserve, 1486 Mt. Zion Rd., Bucyrus. Participants will explore spring wildflowers during a guided hike through the preserve. The program will highlight short-lived blooms and their role in the ecosystem. Viewing the Night Sky — 9 p.m. April 25 at Lowe-Volk Park, 2401 OH-598, Bucyrus. Join the Crawford Park Astronomy Club to observe planets, galaxies and other celestial objects.
