TC girls rout Perkins

Caroline Newlove and Izzy Thompson both earned two of Columbian's 14 victories Tuesday in a 98-38 Sandusky Bay Conference Lake Division girls dual domination of Perkins.Newlove ran to victory in the 200 (27.35) and 400 (1:00.82), while Thompson took the 100 hurdles (17.32) and 300 hurdles (53.81).The Tornadoes also picked up individual racing wins from Kennedy Wilhelm in the 100 (13.57), Carmen Lewis in the 800 (2:34.32), Maddie Kelley in the 1,600 (5:57.44) and Gabby Hohman in the 3,200 (13:58.03).Field event victories came from high jumper Abby Lewis (4-8), pole vaulter Ava Newman (8-0) and long jumper Sophia Miller (14-8 1/2).Tornadoes Leah Weingart, Chloe Heyman, Gracyn Whitmer and Aubrey Myers captured the 4x800 (13:08.03).Josie Kanler, Abby Lewis, Morgan Roach and Newman took the 4x100 (52.45) for TC.Emma Musgrave, Carmen Lewis, Wilhelm and Genna Cleveland won the 4x400 (4:36.17). Miller shines for Calvert in quadGIBSONBURG — Emily Miller anchored three winning relays and added an individual win Tuesday, fueling Calvert's girls in a Sandusky Bay Conference River Division quadrangular victory.The Senecas scored 71 points for the win, followed by Northwood (58), Gibsonburg (57) and Lakota (56) all in a tight battle for second.Miller's individual win came in the 200 (28.61).She also helped Calvert claim the 4x800 (11:47.28), 4x200 (1:58.66) and 4x400 (4:55.8).Kaleigh Concepcion, Madeline Zeno, Emily Feasel joined her on the 4x800. Avery Elchert, Carleigh Meier, Zeno filled out the 4x200. Wagner, Beard spark RaidersGIBSONBURG — Jalen Wagner and King Beard each captured two individual events and helped Lakota claim a relay Tuesday, guiding the Raiders to a Sandusky Bay Conference River Division quadrangular victory.The Raiders stormed off to the win with 103 points. Chieftains Cook up tri winELMORE — Laura Cook earned two of Hopewell-Loudon's eight victories Tuesday, leading the Chieftains to a Sandusky Bay Conference River Division girls triangular win.Hopewell-Loudon downed Woodmore 80 1/2-50 for the win, with Fremont St. Joe coming in third with 39 1/2 points.Cook keyed H-L with winning tosses in the discus (90-10) and shot (33-10 1/2).High jumper Ellie Bloom (4-10) and long jumper Lily Brickner (15-5) also earned field event victories.Racing wins went to Chieftains Nataleigh Wilson in the 100 hurdles (18.5), Kara Wyman in the 1,600 (6:04.9), Emily Arbogast in the 400 (1:23.1) and Lola Wilson in the 3,200 (15:47.4) Turner helps Fliers turn away SanduskyCLYDE — Koltan Turner swept the hurdles races and led off two winning relays Tuesday to key Clyde's 91-37 boys Sandusky Bay Conference Lake Division dual win against Sandusky.Turner took the 110 hurdles (17.07) and 300 hurdles (45.11), and led off the 4x200 (1:34.73) and 4x100 (47.33) victors.Sam Greenslade joined him on both relays.
