Stockaders push past Carey

FINDLAY — Emma Pump and Adelyn Dick both placed in two individual races and helped Old Fort place in two relays Saturday to push the Stockaders past Carey for sixth in the girls portion of the Liberty-Benton Invitational.Columbus Grove beat Bluffton 150 1/2-105 1/2 for the title in the 10-team field, with Old Fort holding off the Blue Devils 39-34 1/2 for sixth.Pump ran second in the 400 (59.96) and sixth in the 200 (27.62) while Dick took sixth in the 100 hurdles (17.55) and eighth in the 300 hurdles (52.41).The both joined with Carly Fortney and Kailey Haugh to claim fourth in the 4x100 (52.86) and fifth in the 4x200 (1:52.41).Grace Tackett added a second in the 3,200 (12:30.93) and a fourth in the 1,600 (5:59.08).Fortney, Jenna Adkins, Faye Walton and Tackett finished seventh in the 4x800 (11:56.71) for Old Fort.Elysa Holsinger keyed Carey by winning the 300 hurdles (46.16), taking third in the 100 hurdles (16.54), and anchoring the 4x200 (1:51.06) and 4x400 (4:30.46) both to fourth.Addison Baldridge and Emma Ritter both ran with her on both relays.
