Perry powers Bucks to second

NEW WASHINGTON — Collin Perry sprinted to two wins and leaped to two more Tuesday to guide Buckeye Central's boys to second at their own Buckeye Central Invitational.Wynford downed the Bucks 136-101 1/2 for the championship in the nine-team meet.Perry powered BC by taking the 100 (11.1), 200 (24.32), high jump (5-8) and long jump (21-1).The Bucks also claimed the 4x400 (3:52.59).Meet officials did not provide names of relay runners in the results.Buckeye Central's 4x200 squad ran third (1:45.11).Fourths went to Kayne Wagner in the 1,600 (5:47.41), Aaron Johnson in the 200 (26.1), and the 4x800 (10:33.93) and 4x100 (52.12) teams.Donnie Fourtner added fifths in the 400 (59.01) and long jump (18-1 1/4), as did Wagner in the 800 (2:29.38).Nash Rose finished sixth in the 110 hurdles (20.05) and 300 hurdles (52.63), and Louie Rietschlin tied for sixth in the high jump (5-2).Sevenths came from Titus Beeson in the 300 hurdles (57.91) and Rietschlin in the 800 (2:43.33).Shot putter Chance Hawley ended eighth (37-1).
